Greetings!

My name is Dallas Brown, and I provide piano lessons in Milwaukee. I have been playing piano for well over a decade, and I am eager to share my love of the instrument and of music generally with just about anyone. In addition to playing piano, I also run a personal recording studio, I write and compose music, and I play a host of other instruments. Simply put, I love to make music.

If you’ve made it to this website, that might mean that you are interested in signing up for piano lessons with me. I hope this site will serve to provide the essential information about what that entails. However, if you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to reach out by completing the contact form below or by clicking the “Email Me” button at the top of this page.

Thanks, and happy playing!

Dallas

  • First, we’ll schedule you for a free introductory lesson. This gives us an opportunity to get to know each other and make sure I’m the right fit for your needs.

If we decide to go forward with lessons, we’ll set you up with a weekly lesson schedule.

  • I charge $30 for a thirty minute lesson. Payments can be lumped together at the start of a month. I accept payments through checks, cash, or Zelle.

  • I believe that any well-rounded musician should possess a strong technical foundation, a diverse selection of repertoire exposure, a deep knowledge of music theory, and the ability to improvise and create to some extent.

My lessons promote development in these four areas in such a way which is tailored to the experience level of the student.

  • I can comfortably teach anyone from complete beginners to intermediate students. So long as there is a willingness and eagerness to learn, we should be successful.

  • I teach from my home in West Allis, near the State Fair grounds. I have a dedicated room for piano lessons as well as a cozy seating area for parents and other students right next to the piano room.

  • Whereas the piano is my primary instrument, I have deep knowledge of guitar, electric bass, recording, and music production. I would be open to discussing lessons in those subjects as well.
